Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this breath taking 1939 Ford Standard Coupe! This immaculate classic comes in a stunning maroon and black paint job complemented by a spotless beige interior. Powering the Ford is a 221 cubic inch V8 motor mated to a crisp manual gearbox. This vehicle comes to us from an elite private collection where it has lived since 1962! During its time there a full restoration was professionally completed as well as various general maintenance. Additionally, a locally well known classic automobile shop recently went through the Ford giving it a clean bill of health. So if you're in the market for a top tier piece of automotive history, you'll be hard pressed to find a better example on the market today! Please contact us today for more information. The Ford line of cars was updated in 1937 with one major change, the introduction of an entry-level 136 CID (2.2 L) V8 in addition to the popular 221 CID (3.6 L) flathead V8. The model was a refresh of its predecessor, the Model 48 and was the company's main product. The 1937 Ford featured a more rounded look with fine horizontal bars in the convex front and hood-side grilles. The front grille was V-shaped, rather than following the fenders into a pentagon shape, as on the 1936 model. Faired-in headlights were a major modernization found on both the Standard and DeLuxe trim versions, though much of the rest of the design was shared between Ford's two lines. A larger water pump was used to help aid in cooling. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit our website www.grautogallery.com

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1939 Ford COUPE recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1939 Ford COUPE problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
